Myvideotalk India - Unique Positioning

India - The Fastest growing mobile economy with over 100 million cell phones and less than 10 percent market penetration Wow can you imagine what a powerful market position that is ??
Broadband introduced to india in 2005 and a committment by the government to reach 20 million new connections over the next couple of years. To keep up the growth rates and increased penetration India needs wireless broadband deployment and plans are afoot for Wimax to be launched in India on a commercial basis by this year end.
Companies around the world are working over time to speed up their broad band deployment and increasing bandwidth, furthering it with aggressive addition of wimax and g3 technologies which will introduce wireless broadband services, thereby increasing the spread of customers and services substantially. In a Recent report Adlane Fellah, CEO and founder of Maravedis, that claims to be a world leader in market research and analysis of the global broadband, BWA and WiMax markets, said "assuming India releases WiMax spectrum by this year end, by 2012 India could have accumulated 18 million BWA subscribers making the country one of the top three WiMax markets in the world,"
India is also witnessing a sharp growth in online population with total number of internet users, aged over 15 years, rising 7.8 per cent to 18.02 million in June 2006 from 16.71 million in March 2006, a latest survey from US-based technology research firm Comscore Networks shows.
It indicates that Indians are going to the internet in a big way swiftly surpassing the world, including major IT sources like the US, China, Japan and Germany, in terms of the online population growth.
The survey shows, India has grabbed the position of ninth biggest nation in terms of the total online population from its 10th position three months ago this year, while the US has retained its top spot with 153 million of web users. According to IAMAI, total Indian online population stands at 38 million users, and this is without looking at the traffic from access through cyber cafes, mobiles or PDAs. The overall number of people accessing internet could be much higher.

So in a nutshell the fastest growing mobile economy in the world coupled with the highest growth rates in internet users and the potential to be among the top three wireless broadband markets in the world, uniquely positions Myvideotalk India to be a leader in internet communication technologies -Through their unique video webmail, video on websites, or web conferencing solution- for the foreseeable future.
