The cost for a full page advertisement in a prominent magazine or newspaper can run into lakhs for a single issue. For a far smaller investment one can get excellent exposure on a website, attracting a similar or more highly targeted readership, for a continuous period of a few weeks or even a few months. Definitely great value for money.
