The survey shows, India has grabbed the position of ninth biggest nation in terms of the total online population from its 10th position three months ago this year, while the US has retained its top spot with 153 million of web users. According to IAMAI, total Indian online population stands at 38 million users, and this is without looking at the traffic from access through cyber cafes, mobiles or PDAs. The overall number of people accessing internet could be much higher.

Broadband prices are Falling - myvideotalk india

DSL costs have fallen 15 per cent since 2004, and are set to drop a further 11 per cent by the end 2006. This seems to be a global trend as reported from various countries around the world.
